With the new DC emergency power supply UPSI-2412DP3, you can reliably protect your safety-relevant 24VDC application against system failure and data loss. For buffering the 24VDC supply voltage, we rely on LiFePO4 high-performance cells with high energy density, intrinsic safety and a particularly long service life.

The compact DC UPS in a robust DIN rail housing is ideally suited for long-term use in control cabinet applications and decentralized solutions for protecting embedded IPCs, controls, motors, sensors, measurement, control and safety technology, and many more.

The integrated LiFePO4 battery pack impresses in safety-relevant applications with a particularly stable battery chemistry, a long service life of at least 10 years and up to 5000 full cycles. For all high-performance battery packs, we deliberately rely on safe lithium-iron phosphate chemistry, which makes thermal runaway almost impossible. Combined with our specially developed battery management system (BMS), we guarantee maximum reliability and safety for your demanding application.

Compared to lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 high-performance batteries has an approx. 15-20 times longer service life and cycle stability. When calculating the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) over the entire period of use of at least 10 years, there is a clear cost advantage for LiFePO4 battery technology, especially since there is no effort for maintenance and battery replacement during this period.

The customized UPS configuration software package is available for you to download free of charge.

Extended functionality and monitoring
The setting and parameterization of the DC UPS system as well as real-time monitoring is conveniently possible with the 'UPS Gen2 Configuration' software. The UPS and battery status displays include all relevant voltages, currents as well as battery temperature, state of charge (SOC), runtimes and cycles. Self-sufficient operation is then possible with the set values.

Timer function for controlled shutdown according to the time specified
The new "Shut Down OS in" parameter can be used to set the time until the computer system is shut down and switched off in the event of a power failure. In addition to the operating system setting with regard to „State Of Charge“ of the energy storage device ("Shut Down OS at SOC"), the new function can now be used to define a specific time for the controlled shutdown in UPS backup mode.

Shutdown & Reboot function for IPC systems
In the event of a ‘PowerFail, the DC UPS signals the failure of the supply voltage via the integrated interface, so that a controlled shutdown of the computer system is initiated and valuable data is saved. The integrated reboot function of the DC UPS automatically initiates the restart of the supplied IPC after the supply voltage has returned, without the need for costly on-site intervention by a service employee, e.g. with completely self-sufficient computer systems in inaccessible locations.
